You are within walking distance of Syntagma Square, where locals and tourists mingle and chat over a cup of coffee while the children play on the square. You can easily walk to the waterfront, lined with palm trees, cafés and restaurants. Also, it is located in the same buillding as Dimitri 2 and a few houses from the Poppy apartment.The Dimitri 1 vacation rental is a second-floor apartment, without an elevator (22 steps). It is a homey and lovely apartment, with marble and hardwood floors. The Dimitri 1 apartment comfortably accommodates 4 people. You enter through a hallway/dining room and will find 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and one with two twin beds. Also, the cozy living room with hardwood floors and a balcony overlooking the lovely St. George Square has a sitting area, TV and radio. This makes it easy to relax after a long day, or perhaps, plan your adventures for the days to come. This home-away-from-home has a small, but full eat-in kitchen, with a washing machine. The bathroom offers a bathtub with hand-held shower. For your convenience, there is a mobile phone in the apartment. The phone can be recharged with a phone card, which you can purchase from any kiosk. You will find fans in the apartment, as well as radiators for colder times. The location of the Dimitri 1 apartment is magnificent, with easy access to main roads and only a 3- to 5-minute walk from the main bus station. The apartment does not have an assigned parking spot, but you will be able to find parking a few blocks away.The church bells of St. George ring at 7:00 am on Sundays and holidays, so no sleeping in on those days.
