“La Mouffe”, as the locals call it, is a very safe and lively Parisian neighborhood with a village atmosphere, brimming with terraced cafés, restaurants, bars, grocers, florists, bookshops, boutiques, ice-cream parlors, cinemas, theaters, and daily markets.
It is a neighborhood full of life, culture, and history. Former residents of the quartier include Hemingway and Descartes.
Also next door is les Arènes de Lutèce, the ancient Roman amphitheater and its gardens. Le Pantheon, la Sorbonne, le Luxembourg, le Jardin des Plantes, la Seine and la Cathédrale de Nôtre Dame are all within easy walking distance.
Your Apartment
Recently renovated and fully furnished with "TLC"(Tender Loving Care), the apartment has everything from books to umbrellas, an LCD flat-screen TV, a PC laptop with high-speed Internet, free international phone service, and a cellular phone at your disposal. (Linens,towels included).
The apartment is ideal for a couple but can sleep three comfortably. There is a double sofa bed in the living room and a single fold-out bed in the office/dressing room. There is a small equipped kitchen, a full bath and plenty of light!
The flat is on the first floor (second floor American) of a two-storey building. There is a digi-code to enter the main building.
Owners will be there to welcome you, give you the keys, show you around the apartment and explain how everything works.
