Escape to the mountains in this quiet mountain side cabin nestled on a treed lot on a quiet street. In the fall you will enjoy fabulous fall colors and cool days lounging on the spacious front deck. In the winter, skiing and snow tubing are just minutes away at Hawks Nest Ski Resort (only about a mile from the cabin) and fantastic views of Grandfather Mountain (winter views only.) In the spring, the mountain is alive with wildflowers and abundant wildlife emerging from their cozy winter homes. And in the summer months, escape the balmy summer heat for the cool and breezy mountain air at 4500 ft elevation.
The cabin offers two bedrooms and two full baths and is appointed with all the comforts of home. The Master bedroom has a King bed and accesses the deck through large glass doors. The Master bath offers a walk-in shower and also a 6 person hot tub for relaxing after a busy day of exploring or a day on the slopes.
The second bedroom has two twin beds and an additional loft area accessible by a ladder (perfect for the kids!) This bedroom also has glass doors leading to the deck. There is a full size washer and dryer in the hall utility room and a second full bath with shower/tub.
The living room has plenty of comfortable seating a television with cable programming and DVD/VHS player. For your convenience, we also offer high-speed, wireless internet connection. On cool evenings, you will enjoy cozying up in front of the stone fireplace and on breezy afternoons, you can open the large glass doors leading to the deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air.
