Our large heated swimming pools, artistically situated amid lush greens and flowering shrubs, create the ideal environment for swimming and relaxing. One of the pools is shallow enough for young children. The 3-lighted Har-Tru tennis courts afford many hours of play--whether you are a pro or novice. The exercise room, complete with motorized treadmills, bicycles, and various machines, connects to the saunas. Table tennis is also available in the same area.
Our own marina on the Intracoastal Waterway, lends itself nicely to boating and fishing. The marina will accommodate boats up to 40 feet. Benches overlooking the bay make an enjoyable spot to watch dolphins, water birds, manatees, and boats. Gas grills are located on the marina island, as well as on the outdoor patio adjacent to the pools. Our sparkling waterfall and large tropical pond make a wonderful background for pictures.
We are a short walk to Siesta Beach with the world's finest, whitest sand and listed in National Geographic's "best beaches in the world". Watch a breathtaking sunset over the Gulf of Mexico! Enjoy the laid back charm of a Siesta Key "Village Stroll" featuring live music, quaint shops, and local arts and crafts. Of course, take time for a quick snack or complete meal at one of the many excellent restaurants.
Sarasota is Florida's cultural center, offering ballet, opera, symphony, theater, and the John Ringling Mansion and Art Museum. Visit Mote Marine--sea turtles, sharks and manatees; Selby Gardens--rare botanical specimens and beautiful orchids from around the world; and Myakka Park--air boats, train tours, gators, and true "Old Time Florida".
The warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico offer other exciting choices besides swimming. The sports enthusiast will find time to enjoy parasailing, water skiing, windsurfing, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Minutes away, the mainland is a golfer's paradise with over 15 golf courses readily accessible.
The Sarasota International Airport is a 25-minute drive away, while Tampa and Fort Myers airports are approximately an hour away.
